SUMMARY:
Digital Twin
is the trending topic in the AEC industry today. Like BIM during the early days, digital twin is a revolutionary idea that is often spoken but not truly understood. At its simplest, the digital twin represents a collection of digital data that represents for the AEC industry, anywhere from a general physical object to an engineering component, to a building. However, some mistake a digital twin to be nothing more than 3D; what people fail to understand is that a creation of a digital twin is intended to have a specific use case. During this presentation we will cover the following:
