Don Yoshino is principal of Yoshino Architecture, located in Boca Raton, Florida. Following a graduate program in Japanese architectural history at Kyoto University, he became project manager for DMJM Tokyo, and then vice president-in-charge of the international division at PAE International. Yoshino received his AIA Service to Society fellowship as former president of the Board of Trustees at the Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens, where he assisted in the seven-year development of the award-winning Rojien Gardens. In 2017 he was conferred the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Rays from the Foreign Ministry of Japan for his continuous work in bridging the culture between Japan and the United States.
