New Maekawa House - It's Value and Future
The New Maekawa House was built in 1974 and has been used for the past 35 years as a residence, first as Kunio Maekawa's last house and after that as a rental property. Around 2 years ago the house was going to put into the market thus increasing the risk of it being demolished. The location and size of the plot it sits in attract developers.
Through the involvement of our company (around 1 1/2 years ago) we have been able to open a time window in order find a way to keep the house either as a rental house or other viable use. Now due to the end of the present lease contract this year, we have the chance of showing the house and raise the awareness of its value through the organization of the seminar, with the ultimate aim of keeping the building as long as its possible.
