EVENT OVERVIEW:
The recent scandal centered around the integrity of structural calculations performed by First Class Architect Hidetsugu Aneha is spreading like wild fire and causing lots of people to have second thoughts about the buildings they occupy. To most of us, planning, designing and building a steel and concrete structure is a mystery. However, most of us also live and/or work in them. Join the Architecture, Construction and Engineering Committee for a lively panel discussion among experts from academia to hands-on construction on the current state of affairs, including the Director of the Building Guidance Division of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, Mr. Tomoyoshi Ogawa.
Michael P. King and Kevyn Johnson, Co-Chairs
