Membership
Membership in AIA Japan includes invitations and discounts to events, discounts to publications, special access to AIA website information, and a subscription to Architectural Record (the official magazine of the American Institute of Architects). As part of our AIA Japan Mission statement, our goal is to increase the visibility of our members as professionals, and to help provide a collective voice as one architectural community.
Membership in AIA Japan is available in three categories:
- Architect Member (AIA)
Individuals licensed to practice architecture in U.S. State or Territory.

- Associate Member (Assoc. AIA)
Assoc. AIA is open to individuals who meet one of the following criteria:
Recent graduate with a degree in architecture
Currently enrolled in the Intern Development Program (IDP) and working towards licensure, or
Currently work under the supervision of an architect or hold a degree in architecture, or
Faculty member in a university program in architecture.

- International Associate Architect Member (Int'l Assoc. AIA)
Individuals who have an architecture license or equivalent from a non-U.S. Licensing authority.

Fees:
Please note that there are two separate fees for membership: AIA National and AIA Japan. The AIA National fee is listed in the your application form, which is available via the links above.
The AIA Japan fee for one year is:
- Architect Members: $180USD
- Associate Member: $90USD
- International Associate Members: $180USD

協賛会員
AIA日本支部の協賛会員制度は、建築に関連する、建設、不動産、エンジニアリング、法律、インテリアデザイン、コンサルタント、製造業者とその営業等を担当されている個人を対象とした会員制度です。協賛会員は、 AIA日本支部から下記の会員特典を受けることができます（AIA 本部からの郵送物は含まれておりません）。
AIA日本支部協賛会員の年会費は 30,000円です。会員期間は年会費と会員申込用紙がAIA日本支部へ届いた日から有効となります。
会員特典
- AIA日本支部ホームページ上の会員欄への貴社名掲載。
- AIA日本支部ホームページ上へのバナー広告掲載機会の優先的紹介
- 支部主催イベント、プログラムの参加費割引。
- 支部主催イベントのスポンサー機会の優先的紹介（スポンサー料は別途発生いたします）。
- 支部活動を通しての交流。
年会費として30,000円を、指定のアメリカ建築家協会日本支部の銀行口座までお振込下さい。その後に 別紙の申し込み用紙(PDF)に必要事項をご記入の上、振込み明細書のコピーとあわせてAIA Japan事務局までファックスでお送り下さい。
